Much careful thought has gone in the creation of Aghe as a commercial activity. Our work and our existence are characterized by an emphasis on human relationships, a responsible approach to consumerism and a non-violent attitude also towards the environment. We are very interested in all that concern food and nutrition, in particular with regard to the safekeeping of biodiversity of local products, health and cultural meanings. We are convinced that health starts at the table and that food can be both nutritious and delicious. Social justice and respect for the environment also start at the table.

Our daily responsible practices:

  • Promotion of a kind of tourism that encourage to discover the countryside, the little hidden treasures of the "magic" island of Sardinia, non only the beaches.
  • Mediterranean traditional cuisine with local products, most organic.
  • Hospitality in historical restored buildings (without overbuilding).
  • Promotion of the "ecological" vegetarian and vegan cuisine, with local products, most organic.
  • No barriers.
  • Solar panels and vegetal compost to save energy.
