Agriturismo Aghe

Accessible Rural Tourism Nature and Culture

HOSPITALITY

Aghe is a centre for rural tourism located near Milis (in central western Sardinia), a village famous for its orange groves and which has historical and artistic monuments dating from the 12th-13th centuries, at the foot of Montiferru (an area of hills reaching 1000 metres alt.), twenty minutes by car from the sea.
Aghe is made up of three buildings on two hectares of fields, orchards and vegetable garden. The main house was built at the beginning of the 1900's in stone and "ladiri" (traditional Sardinian bricks); there is also a smaller stone house and a farm building. The three buildings have all been completely remodelled keeping the original characteristics intact.

There are six rooms (single, double or triple), each with its own private bath and independent entrance. There are also two apartments: "Elicriso" (for 4 people, with a double and space night for two people on the loft) and "Acacie" (for 3 people, with a double on ground floor and night space for one on the loft).
An exterior vine-covered walkway surrounds and links the three buildings, providing a pleasant outdoor space for relaxing and dining. Ping pong table and fussball are also available.
Guests can use a common refrigerator and a washing machine.

  • You can find raised beds of herbs which have been especially designed for the enjoyment of those in a wheel-chair.
  • And finally, taste our home-made jams and marmalades; our red myrtle and wild fennel liqueurs!
